"Why do you pay your employees so well?" – we hear this question very often. And the answer is more multifaceted than you might think.
On one hand, it's a question of attitude for us. We don't want to build a company that functions at the expense of simple workers. Exploitation contradicts our values – and we don't want to base our success on others having to live poorly because of it.
On the other hand, there are very clear economic reasons. We mainly build for German-speaking customers who expect a certain quality and are also willing to pay for it. We only achieve this quality with a good team. When we pay fair wages and offer good working conditions, we not only have enough applicants – we can also select the best. Even more important: we can retain these good workers long-term.
Of course, we're often asked: Why do European skilled workers get paid more with you than Paraguayan ones? Many suspect it's due to higher cost of living or that they wouldn't work below a certain price. But it's not that simple. The real reason is: with European skilled workers, we can assume independent work methods, precision, and certain quality standards – things we've rarely seen in this form with Paraguayan workers, even the best ones. This is also a question of economic efficiency: mistakes and rework ultimately cost more than working precisely from the start.
But that doesn't mean we don't see development. Quite the contrary. We're proud when our workers develop, take on more responsibility, and thereby also earn more wages. It fills us with joy when we hear that someone from our team has bought a new motorcycle, built or expanded a house. We're happy for them because we know: we were able to create a piece of stability and security.
That's exactly our goal: a fair cooperation from which everyone benefits. Our customers, who receive quality. Our workers, who can build a good life. And us, who can be proud of what we create together.
